Victoria's Secret Launch Party

Victoria’s Secret knows how to throw a party. Supermodels Candice Swanepoel and Lily Aldridge hosted a fabulous launch party at Victoria's Secret North Park Mall, Dallas. As the celebration got underway for BOMBSHELL, their new fashionable signature fragrance, fans and customers huddled the entryway to catch a look at Candice and Lily. Their four city tour from Los Angeles, Miami, and New York concluded in Dallas today, Tuesday, September 28, 2010.


I didn’t know what to expect, but I had no idea BOMBSHELL would become my new favorite fragrance. Once I sprayed it on my arm, the light scent of fruity floral combined with a hint of vanilla and a dash of fresh pine intrigued me. It’s a light, clean scent with a bold statement. It’s been years since I found a fragrance I love! The more I wear it, the more I love it.


Customers lined-up to receive a free make-over from the Supermodel artist team, and participated in a cover shoot by a famed fashion photographer. They also received a 5x7 keepsake photo and a BOMBSHELL T-shirt as they rocked to DJ Locklear’s tunes!


I spoke with Supermodel Swanepoel about the notes in their new fragrance. “It has Brazilian passion fruit and pine” said Swanepoel. As she shared a few moments with me, I was impressed with her sincerity. I asked her what advice she would give to aspiring models. “Remember where you come from, be yourself, and have fun” stated Swanepoel who is from South Africa. I also asked her if she thought she was a good “role model” for youth; Swanepoel has no tattoos. “Yes, I do” she stated, wearing a t-shirt and jeans, and not the silky undergarments some may have expected. It was a fun afternoon at North Park, thanks Victoria’s Secret!
